LM Plumbers had spent 10 years building a great business dealing directly with letting agencies. Last year they wanted to expand and start offering their services directly to the public. To do that, they knew they would need a strong online presence.
When they approached us, their website had not been SEO optimised and they had no off-page authority. They were ranking on pages 7-10 of Google and received no enquiries at all, in other words, we were starting from scratch.
We would conduct competitor research to see which companies ranked on the first page and at the top of the local Google 3 pack, for the same services. We would then reverse engineer their success and improve it, guaranteeing the best results.
As LM Plumbers had little to no authority across the web, we needed to build that quickly using off-page SEO strategies. As a local service business, we would focus a lot of effort on developing a strong local presence to generate the highest converting traffic.
The planning and research phase of an SEO project is so important. We need to know who we are trying to beat (the completion). What services do LM Plumbers want to rank for and what do people type into Google to find those services? Which has the biggest volume per month? And of course, what actions will yield the best results and deliver the best ROI.
